Bernie & Harry Annual KateHaven Invitational

Bernie (the golfer) and Harry (the non-golfer) have golfed at KateHaven for 27 years. Bernie tried to get Harry to go golfing for three years before Harry finally agreed. They came out to KateHaven for their first round of golf together 27 years ago.

Harry had so much fun he suggested to Bernie that they golf again next year. Bernie then created the Annual KateHaven Invitational that grew up to 12 members. Yellow hats were made for all stating KateHaven Invitational and included the names of each golfer on the hat. Bernie forgot to bring his this year but Harry is wearing his. As of 2010 they were the only two available for this year’s outing.

Bernie also stated that back when Carlotta ran the golf course he could make their tee time in April for their September Outing but now we only take tee times 7 days in advance.

KateHaven Offers Amenities of Regulation Golf Course

KateHaven Golf Course, located in Circle Pines, might only be a nine-hole executive course, but don't tell that to owners Tom and Melanie Lundgren.

Set on the old farm space of Harley and Carlotta Flor, Melanie's parents, is a beautiful well-manicured, challenging par 30 course.
